Để nến cháy đều, hãy để nến tan chảy hoàn toàn đến mép lần đầu tiên — khoảng 2 giờ. Trước mỗi lần sử dụng, cắt bấc dài 1/4 inch để giúp ngăn khói đen và muội than. Để có kết quả tốt nhất, tránh đốt nến quá 3 giờ mỗi lần và giữ cho bề mặt sáp không có mảnh vụn. Không bao giờ để nến không có người trông coi.
The first burn took the full two hours to melt to the edges, and I was a bit impatient, but it was worth it—the scent filled the room without ever feeling sharp. Trimming the wick to a quarter inch has kept the flame clean and smoke-free every time since.
