För en jämn bränning, låt ljuset smälta helt ut till kanterna första gången — cirka 2 timmar. Före varje användning, klipp veken till 6 mm för att förhindra svart rök och sot. För bästa resultat, undvik att bränna längre än 3 timmar åt gången och håll vaxbadet fritt från skräp. Lämna aldrig ljuset utan uppsikt.
I let it burn the full two hours on the first go and the wax pooled perfectly to the edges, no tunneling at all. The cassis scent fills the room without being overpowering, and trimming the wick to a quarter inch before each light really does keep the smoke away.
The wick trimming to a quarter inch really makes a difference—no soot at all, even after several burns. I let it pool completely on the first light as instructed, and the melt is perfectly even every time since.
I was skeptical about the 2-hour first burn, but letting it melt to the edges made the second lighting so much smoother. The wick trims easily and I haven't seen a wisp of black smoke since.
