For jevn brenning, la lyset smelte helt ut til kantene første gang — ca. 2 timer. Før hver bruk, kutt veken til 6 mm for å unngå svart røyk og sot. For best resultat, unngå å brenne i mer enn 3 timer om gangen og hold vokspolen fri for rusk. La aldri lyset være uten tilsyn.
The first burn took the full two hours to melt to the edges, and I was a bit impatient, but it was worth it—the scent filled the room without ever feeling sharp. Trimming the wick to a quarter inch has kept the flame clean and smoke-free every time since.
Followed the wick-trimming advice to the letter, and that first 2-hour melt was worth it—zero soot and the burn pool is perfectly even every time since. The scent itself is subtle but lingers in the hallway for hours after I blow it out.
The whole house smells incredible after just one burn, and I love that the instructions make it idiot-proof—letting it melt to the edges for two hours really did give a clean, even surface. Trimming the wick to a quarter inch before each use has meant zero soot, which is exactly what I needed.
