Pro rovnoměrné hoření nechte svíčku poprvé roztát až k okrajům — asi 2 hodiny. Před každým použitím zastřihněte knot na 1/4 palce, abyste předešli černému kouři a sazím. Pro nejlepší výsledky se vyhněte hoření déle než 3 hodiny v kuse a udržujte koupel vosku bez nečistot. Nikdy nenechávejte svíčku bez dozoru.
The first burn took the full two hours to melt to the edges, and I was a bit impatient, but it was worth it—the scent filled the room without ever feeling sharp. Trimming the wick to a quarter inch has kept the flame clean and smoke-free every time since.
Followed the wick-trimming advice to the letter, and that first 2-hour melt was worth it—zero soot and the burn pool is perfectly even every time since. The scent itself is subtle but lingers in the hallway for hours after I blow it out.
